I would like the ballina centrepoint motel a lot more if the grumpy old bastard who runs it wasn't there
The old prick. The fact he turned the WiFi off at the wall so no one could use it. The local crocodile wouldn't even go near there pool. I know it's a lot to ask for but could we have more than just one towel for our 3day stay. Some milk for our coffee without the smartarse comments.

We were given a large room and covered parking. The owners were flexible with our arrival arrangements and assisted us in printing out our e- Tickets for the Byron Bay Blues & Roots festival.
Our accommodation was in expensive and easy to find. We had free internet and the owners were very, very helpful.

Good clean room, beds comfortable
Family room was upstairs with balcony and had to walk past smoking guests to access, also staff were smoking and then handling guest towels

The owners.
The hotel is using an old wireless broadband modem which does not support newer (ipad, android) devices properly. Needed to ask for a static ip address, which most people would not know to do.

Close to the RSL.
After asking the cleaner for some fresh towels for the second nights stay the owner came to me and said." Lets get this straight, towels are complimentary". On return to the room that night nothing was done to the room, the bin was not emptied, still had dirty towels etc.

For the price we paid I was very disappointed. I would not let my children in the pool, did not look clean. The facilities were very basic including a strong damp smell in the bathroom. I would pay half the price

Leaving
Musty odour throughout the room.We stayed several nights and our room was not serviced during that time.We were not given fresh towels.
